The Chicopee Center Space at 181 Center St, in Chicopee, MA was taken over by the city of Chicopee back in 2009. Revitalizing the area got under way around 2017 using federal grants, with the goal to build a public outdoor space for the community.
In September 2022 food trucks, a DJ and craft vendors started taking over the space for a few years, but had gone silent again needed a new vision for the area. Allison saw an idea to bring a new vision to the space working with the city of Chicopee for the Center Space. Bringing her passion in comfort southern food up her to the northeast came the inspiration for Wicked Twist Food Truck.
With the grand opening April 24th, 2026 of Wicked Twist at the Chicopee Center Space, 181 Center St. brings with it a 2.0 to the area! Allison is hoping to bring outdoor activities, hanging out spaces, and of course her wicked southern food twist to serve everyone.

Hi, I’m Allison—mama to Cameron, fiancée to Jules, and dog-mom to two Neapolitan mastiffs and a Frenchie. We’re a fun and busy family living in Massachusetts, chasing big dreams with full hearts and full plates. I’m a summa cum laude graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Atlanta, with experience in everything from fine dining to quick service restaurants to food sales. But soul food—rich with history, flavor, and love—is my true passion.
I was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and raised on the flavors of the South. From Florida to New York to Georgia, every kitchen taught me something new, but my heart always brought me back to the soul food I grew up with. Eight years ago, I lost the majority of my vision to diabetic retinopathy. I felt like I lost my purpose too. I turned to food for comfort and reached nearly 400 pounds. Life felt heavy—physically, emotionally, spiritually. But then everything changed. Five years ago, I became a foster mom to a beautiful baby boy. I knew I had to fight for my life—to be the healthiest, happiest version of myself for him. I adopted Cameron, transformed my health, and lost 200 pounds. I found joy, purpose, and the kind of love that makes everything feel possible. Now, I’m ready to return to the kitchen—on my own terms—with…
Wicked Twist, a soul food concept built on healing, history, and heart. The name reflects my Southern roots with a New England flair. The kintsugi design in my branding is intentional: it represents the beauty of being broken and rebuilt. It honors every cracked plate, every crooked road, every step it took to get here.
Wicked Twist food truck in Western Mass isn’t just food. It’s soul. It’s community. It’s proof that even the hardest stories can become beautiful masterpieces, and bringing those stories to the Chicopee Center Space community
